Salute Santé! at the Infineon Vintage Racing Weekend

COPIA Wine Country Pavilion Highlights Vintage Racing Weekend

Saturday, June 3 - 11:00am to 4:00pm

Sunday June 4th - 11:00am to 3:00pm

Race fans are certainly in for a treat at this weekend's Jaguar Wine Country Classic Vintage Car Races with the COPIA Wine Country Pavilion. Fans can enjoy delightful food and wine tastings along with celebrity chef demonstrations all weekend long.

Come and taste Salute Santé! Grapeseed Oil with purveyors Valentin & Nanette Humer, along with the taste sensations of chef Victor Scargle of Julia’s Kitchen and Peter Pahk of the Silverado Resort, both who will be cooking with Salute Santé! Grapeseed Oil.

COPIA, the American Center for Wine, Food & the Arts, will host the Wine Country Pavilion in a new and easily accessible paddock location. Since its inception in 2001, COPIA has enjoyed national recognition as a premier wine country destination - where visitors can explore and celebrate the cultural significance of wine, food and the arts through interactive tasting-programs, art exhibitions, organic edible gardens, films, concerts, shopping, and fine and casual dining.

COPIA will bring that mission to the Jaguar Wine Country Classic, as it will fill the pavilion with a number of wonderful wineries and food purveyors that will offer sumptuous samplings. It's one-stop shopping as your admission price into the raceway will also get you free admission into the pavilion and a number of samplings. You will also receive a free souvenir event program.

One of the highlights of the COPIA Wine Country Pavilion will be cooking demonstrations by Julia's Kitchen's celebrated Executive Chef Victor Scargle, whose culinary talents have graced such highly acclaimed Bay Area restaurants as Jardiniere, the Grand Cafe, Pisces and Aqua. See below for a complete listing of vendors and cooking demonstrations.

Julia's Kitchen at COPIA, named on behalf of its patron, Julia Child, is the recipient of 3˝ stars (out of four) from the San Francisco Chronicle, and has been ranked among the top restaurants in the Bay Area since 2004.

All proceeds generated from the COPIA Wine Country Pavilion will go to qualified youth organizations through Speedway Children's Charities, the charitable arm of Infineon Raceway.
