Brand-new Salute Santé! ® Verjus by Food & Vine™, Inc. of Napa scored a hit at the 52^nd Fancy Food Show in New York City. In her review of the show published July 12, 2006 New York Times food writer Florence Fabricant praised Salute Santé! ® Verjus, calling it “blessed relief” from “an abundance of olive oils and balsamic vinegars.”

Verjus – the unfermented “green juice” of wine grapes harvested in midsummer – has a light and tangy flavor that makes it the perfect partner for grapeseed oil.

Dressings made with Salute Santé! ® Verjus can be paired with fine wines, unlike vinaigrettes that can cause wine to “turn” on the palate.
